They say everyone has a book in them; a story to tell, a journey to share. As an international NLP trainer and co-author of a bestselling anthology of books, John Spender wholeheartedly believes in that concept.

A Journey of Riches is the result of collaboration with over 200 authors from 40 different countries. Now in its 20th volume, the book series came about organically, after John’s contract as an NLP trainer in Singapore ended. Hiring a mentor, he was encouraged to move his life coaching practice from its Sydney offices to online – and to have his clients contribute their stories and journeys to a book. The first volume launched in 2015 and was a #1 international bestseller. All profits from A Journey of Riches are donated to the Bali Street Kids Project, which provides care, support, and education for orphans in Indonesia.

John himself has been on an extraordinary journey to reach this point in his life. He didn’t learn to read and write until the age of 10 but is now a 19-time international bestselling author, a writing coach, and the owner of the publishing house, MotionMediaInternational. He is also an award-winning international speaker and movie maker; his documentary, Adversity, is slated for release in 2020.

In the years between his humble educational beginnings and present day, John has coached and collaborated with other 200 authors from 40 different countries. With his guidance, authors are empowered to share their truth and create a chapter that is impactful and authentic.

His journey has taken him around the world, inspired by his quest for self-fulfillment. He has worked with Native Americans in the hills of San Diego and been swimming with humpback whales in Tonga. He has ventured into the forests of Madagascar and the Okavango Delta of Botswana. He has explored mountains, islands, cities, and streets, always seeking to connect with his own true self and with others.
